I’ve been looking back through some of the wonderful weddings I had the pleasure of photographing in 2018. As well as being a great source of inspiration for my own #wedding plans(!) it’s also getting me really excited for all that 2019 has in store. I’ve been so privileged to have worked at some of the most beautiful wedding venues that the #NorthEast has to offer, so I thought I would share some of last year's weddings again, to hopefully give any newly #engaged couples some ideas!
I want to start with Victoria and Michael’s wedding back in March 2018. I initially met them in January at The Surfcafe Tynemouth to hear about their wedding plans and to make sure I was the right photographer for them. I’m very pleased to say that I was! Soon enough, the big day arrived and they tied the knot at the Maritime Chambers, North Tyneside Registry Office. After a lovely intimate ceremony, I whisked Victoria and Michael off to #Tynemouth for some amazing photos on Longsands, while their guests loaded up on a double decker bus that would take them into #Newcastle. The happy couple then joined their guests in town at Blackfriars for their wedding reception. I absolutely loved shooting at Blackfriars; it's a venue full of character and the hall was really dressed to impress. The stained glass windows are just stunning and it’s the perfect space for an intimate wedding party (also, the food looked amazing!)
This really was a fabulous wedding to photograph, not just because I got to enjoy some of the North East’s stunning coastline and amazing local wedding venues, but Victoria and Michael and all of their friends and family were such a wonderfully fun wedding party and an absolute pleasure to capture on camera!
Dates are starting to fill up nicely with lots of 2019 wedding couples, and I’m also taking bookings for 2020 and 2021. So please do get in touch if you’d like to check availability for your wedding day!
